Exploding Kittens.

Fall-Family-Favorites-PERDUE-Chicken-Turkey-Recipes-Tips-and-MoreWhat is this horribleness? Kittens are cute, adorable, harmless little creatures, how could anyone use the term exploding in reference to kittens? Intriguing though isn’t it? It drew me in too, so much so, that I now have my very own! Exploding Kittens is a completely random card game (almost overly random) that recently graced the shelves of Target. It’s a quick game which I like . . . The kind of game you can squeeze in before dinner or between loads of laundry and homework and one that will be a nice addition to family classics such as Uno and Skip-Bo. It’s not complicated by any sense of the word and there is essentially no strategy. The object of the game is to play and draw cards until someone draws an exploding kitten and loses the game (at which point you become full of incendiary sad sauce – per the instructions). Drawing a card to end your turn becomes scary in a hurry. Gameplay continues until one player is left, who is of course declared the winner! The card illustrations are fun; consisting of Jackanopes, Hairy Potato Cats and Thousand-Year Back Hairs . . . Lots of laughs are sure to be had! Suitable for ages 7 and up, but worth noting there is also an NSFW (not suitable for work) edition for ages 30 and up due to explicit content, something about boob wizards and butts so, choose your game carefully 🙂
